Agara Lake

Agara Lake is one of the rare natural lakes situated on the Outer Ring Road, near to Koramangala and HSR Layout in Bangalore. Agara Lake is spread across a region of around 98 sections of land. The lake was before a pleasant spot where a few types of transient winged creatures could be seen settling and rearing. Dark Pelican, Spot-charge Duck, Great Cormorant, Little Cormorant, Painted Stork, Pond Heron, Little Egret, Pariah Kite, Indian Darter, Brahminy Kite, Purple Heron, Ashy Wren-lark, Cattle Egret, White-breasted Kingfisher, Common Sandpiper, Pied Bushchat, White-breasted Waterhen and Median Egret are the transient flying creatures spotted here.
