The Apostolic Palace is a unique building including several Papal Apartments, some of the Catholic Church’s government offices, the Vatican Museums, a number of both private and public chapels among other buildings and the Vatican Library. Generally, there are more than 1000 rooms inside the Apostolic Palace. The royal residence houses offices of various functions including administrative offices that are not necessarily identified with the Pope's duties. Some of the famous rooms inside the Apostolic Palace incorporate the Sistine Chapel and the Raphael's Rooms.
