Under the lovely, Active, Clean Waters (ABC Waters) Programme, this Park’s old canal was demolished in favour of a more natural and esthetically pleasing river. At the River Plains side of Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park, there are little footpaths that lead down to stepping stones crossing the waterway. These give a superbly close glance at the wonderful wandering stream. Stream Plains, there is an Inclusive Playground with agreeable elastic mounds that are littered through the premises. Created from the remnants of the first solid waterway that once went through Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park, Recycle Hill stands as a useful vantage point should you desire a pleasant outline of the park? Worked with the subject of 'reconnection' as a top priority, the sculpture represents the fuse of nature into its metallic design. The copious amounts of lotus flowers at Lotus Garden give the ideal background to bunch photos. You might have the option to spot various untamed life here including the white-breasted water hen, nabbed kingfisher and red-winged parasol dragonfly. This section of the park has been planted with greenery that attracts butterflies. Go for a stroll through the Butterfly Habitat and see the number of butterflies you can spot.
