Donmouth Local Nature Reserve is a beach area in the historic ancient Aberdeen part of the City, where the River Don intersects the sea. An extraordinary place to explore seals and varieties of interesting birds! The sea shore zone has changed after some time as the waterway has changed its course. There are lots of interesting plants in the dunes and sea shore zone. The paths stumble into King Street to the Brig 'o Balgownie, the first scaffold in to the City from the North, at that point down the opposite side of the waterway to the sea.
