Rambling over 2.70 KM square of land, Guindy National Park has been positioned the 8th smallest national park of India. Additionally, it is the only park located right in the centre of a city. Set up in the year 1978, the park got its defensive air to save a portion of the uncommon and imperilled types of natural life. To satisfy this, the park is totally limited from any human exercises like poaching, chasing, and so forth. With settled limits, the park effectively houses in excess of 350 types of vegetation alongside 150 types of flying creatures and 14 types of wild creatures.
