Come rain or come shine, a stroll, run or jog is regularly enough to blow of the days cobwebs. Lucky for the citizens of Greater Manchester, we have the most important and best park inside the North West way to Heaton Park. From its sprawling inexperienced fields and boating lake, to an animal farm and 18-hole golf route - there is a little bit of everything across the municipal park. And it's now not only a park, the six hundred acre land has bags of history and is listed Grade two at the English Heritage Register of Parks. The grounds are also home to the Grade I listed, neoclassical 18th century country. More than just a walk within the park, Heaton Park is an ancient region on the threshold of Manchester with all of the attractions imparting a complete time out for every age. Visit the play regions, golf path, cafes, Tram Museum, Animal Centre, boating lake, bowling greens, and try your hand at horse riding. Take advantage of a packed activities programme that takes place every 12 months including outdoor live shows, dramas and plays.
