Situated at a distance of 18 km northwest to Bengaluru in Karnataka, Hesaraghatta Lake is a wonderful manmade reservoir and freshwater lake. Developed in the year 1894, across the Arkavathy River, the repository was worked to take into account the water needs of the city - for drinking, water system and different purposes. Rambling over a zone of more than 1000 sections of land, the Hesaraghatta Lake is a famous escape from the city. In spite of the fact that the lake stays dry for most pieces of the year now, the green fields in the region compensate for it.
