Designed by popular Scottish architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh, House for an Art Lover is an honestly unique venue and one in every of Glasgow's architectural gemstones! The House for an Art Lover is situated in Bellahouston Park in Glasgow and sits east of the website of the famed Festival Tower of the Empire Exhibition. The idea to genuinely construct the residence from the Mackintoshs' designs came from Graham Roxburgh, a civil engineer in Glasgow who had finished refurbishment paintings on the Mackintosh interiors in Craigie Hall. The residence is a venue for artwork exhibitions and other events, in addition to being itself a tourist enchantment. Inside there's a café and present save. As with all of Mackintosh's works, the House is designed to be viewed as an entire. Inside the house, traditional Victorian designs are juxtaposed with modern standards and show the blending of masculine and female, natural paperwork with abstract notion, or easy ideas with complicated designs. Mackintosh emphasized a need for architects and designers to take delivery of extra freedom whilst expressing their ideas; and, this potential to create an impartial layout is visible in the structure and format of the House for an Art Lover.
