Jebel Ali is situated on the south-west sea shore of Dubai and has a historical significance as it is the world's 9th busiest port, the biggest man-made harbour. The port Jebel Ali was constructed in the last part of the 1970s to help ease the heat off the facilities of Port Rashid. It immediately turned into the most visited spot by US Navy ships outside of US. Jebel Ali is very much associated because of its prudence of being a significant town, by Al Maktoum International Airport and to the rest of Dubai by the UAE Exchange, Danube (once in the past Jebel Ali Industrial), and Energy stations on the Dubai Metro. The Jebel Ali Free Zone, made in 1985, is an industrial zone that is situated around the port. There are several resorts, outdoors spots and surprisingly luxurious hotels holding back to catch your eye. Jebel Ali is around 30 minutes south of downtown Dubai and the emirate's newest sporting improvement zone. Definitely known as an industrial zone with the world's largest man-made harbor, the zone is home to some long, sandy beaches where you can get yourself basically alone.
