If you are a fitness freak, warm up at one of the 20 fitness stations situated around the park before going for jogging on the tracks. Including characteristic vegetation and a high biodiversity of untamed life, Kent Ridge Park is also a top choice of nature lovers. On the eastern side of the park towards the valley is a characteristic lake overflowing with turtles and fish. Stroll along Canopy Walk – a raised promenade measuring 280-meters in length connecting HortPark to Kent Ridge Park – and you may just have the option to notice sunbirds, doves, squirrels, lizards, and white-crested snickering thrush. With groves of Tembusu, Adinandras and Dillenias, you'll hear the chirps of birds and the hums of insects as you stroll along the wandering paths of the park towards the two ponds at the foot of the edge. Kent Ridge Park is essential for the Southern Ridges, which also comprises Mount Faber Park, Telok Blangah Hill Park, HortPark and Labrador Nature Reserve. The eastern side of Kent Ridge Park leads to a valley, the way to which is flanked by a characteristic lake overflowing with fish as well as turtles.
