Kundrathur Murugan temple

Kundrathur Murugan Temple is situated in Kundrathur. Lord Subramaniar (Murugan) stayed on the slope during his visits from Tiruporur to Tiruttanigai, as indicated by Hindu folklore. This place is also known as South Thanigai. This is the lone Murugan sanctuary in Tamil Nadu where the God is standing a north-bound way. This temple was developed by King Kulothunga Chola II.
