Marc Anthony grew up in East Harlem to Puerto Rican dad and mom Guillermina and Felipe Muñiz, the youngest of eight youngsters. Anthony grew up listening to an aggregate of Latin musicians consisting of Hector Lavoe, Willie Colón and Rubén Blades and modern-day pop songs by the likes of Air Supply and Josê Feliciano. Introduced to tune theory via their father Anthony and his sister have been observed via demo and commercial manufacturer David Harris, who employed Anthony to sing within the history of some of productions. In his early profession Anthony labored as a session vocalist for some of Latin and undergrounds acts in New York City, U.S. This covered writing and producing “Boy, I’ve Been Told” for pal and freestyle artist Sa-Fire, which became a Top 40 Hop-Hop Hit, and eventually sung on Sa-Fire's album.
