The Meadows Museum is hub to one of the biggest and most comprehensive collections of Spanish craftsmanship outside of Spain; crossing 12 centuries, it incorporates works by Dali, Goya, Miro, Murillo, Picasso, Ribera, and Velazquez. Situated on the Southern Methodist University grounds, the Meadows Museum was first settled in 1965 to house the assortment of Spanish craftsmanship gathered by Dallas oilman and humanitarian Algur H. Knolls.
