The building of Palazzo Grimani was constructed for and belonged to Antonio Grimani within the beginning of the sixteenth Century. He changed into a tradesman and later elected Doge of the town, this house stayed in his own family for nearly centuries. The Palazzo was designed by using architect Michele Sanmicheli (metropolis planner and army Venetian architect) with a façade that is divided into 3 sections, and decorated with polychrome marble and window arches.
