At National Parks Board (NParks), they are devoted and committed to providing and improving the greenery of Singapore. Starting with the main Tree Planting Campaign in 1963, NParks has made considerable progress in greening up their island city, with 4 nature stores and in excess of 350 parks spread across Singapore to date and as yet developing. Adding to this is the broad streetscape, or side of the road greenery, that frames the foundation of their City in a Garden. An island-wide Park Connector Network is additionally being created to interface significant parks, nature regions and private bequests.
