Pulau Ubin

Pulau Ubin is a little island situated in the north-eastern side of territory Singapore, in the Straits of Johor. The island can be reached on a bumboat from Changi Point Ferry Terminal, and the ride takes approximately ten minutes. Pulau Ubin signifies "Rock Island" and it sits on surrendered stone quarries. The island is otherwise called 'tsioh sua' in the Taiwanese Romanization of Hokkein, which signifies "stone slope". The island shapes a piece of the Ubin-Khatib Important Bird Area and is known to house different various types of the traveler just as occupant winged animals, huge numbers of which are undermined.
