This lovely temple is devoted to Lord Shiva. It belongs to the everyday Goan Hindu temple style of structure. It is very exceptional with its white towers, welcoming at the doorway although it is small and extraordinary. The Mangueshi temple is situated 22 kms. It is devoted to Lord Mangueshi, a shape of Shiva, which is acknowledged only in Goa.  In the temple of Mangesh is a prominent Nandi Bull that is taken into consideration to be the Vahana (Vehicle) of Shiva. The temple complicated consists of a spacious courtyard surrounded through the temple itself and rooms for weddings and pilgrims. The temple also has a dazzling water tank, which is assumed to be the oldest a part of the temple. The ''Deepastambha'' is an attention grabbing shape; it's far a seven storey octagonal lamp tower. Considered as the tallest and maximum enforcing column in Goa, it looks picturesque when illuminated at night time with traditional oil lamps at some stage in pageant nights. The tower is topped with a small dome. The sanctum homes a Shiva Lingam. A golden Shesha, the Linga and a photo of Shiva represent the main altar. It has shrines of Parvati and Ganesha.
