Karaga festival is the widely celebrated festival in the Dharmaraya temple. This festival is devoted solely for the goddess Draupadi. The festival is praised to as a symbol to advance ladies strengthening and furthermore as a symbol to stamp the triumph of goodness on the planet. Hundreds of individuals run from various a piece of the state to praise this festival which is commended for as long as 11 days continuously with various religious ceremonies on every day of the festival. During the festival a procession is completed which does not stop for anybody or anyplace and toward the end a special Prasad is distributed to every one of the followers and this Prasad is known to have therapeutic effects in restoring ailments and bringing help. On the last day of the festival, the sanctuary banner is brought down to stamp the consummation of the festival. The outside and the inside of the sanctuary has been designed or structured in such a manner that it reflects the compositional styles of Gangas, Pallavas and the Vijaynagaras. Some parts of the sanctuary such as garbhagruha have been designed so as to show the styles of the Gangas. There are numerous different parts of the sanctuary which portray the styles of the other two civilizations.
