It is an outstanding sight of Indian-rock-cut architecture which is also popular as Gavipuram Cave Temple. It is one of the old sanctuaries in Bangalore which was worked by Kempe Gowda in the sixteenth century. In the forecourt of the sanctuary lie puzzling stone plates that permit the sun beams on the holy place in a specific season of a year. The sanctuary is fundamentally cut on a stone where the significant segments of the external appearance remember solid columns and two fans for the yard where the columns speak to Trishul and Damaru.
