This heavenly temple is the abode of Lord Sri Venkateshwara. It is one of the antiquated temples of Karnataka and Bengaluru specifically. It is a gigantic temple and has a spacious yard. Worked by Chikka Devaraja Wodeyar during the 1600s, this temple exemplifies the Dravidian and Vijayanagara engineering. There are numerous carvings of animals and scenes from old Hindu legendary stories. Different deities worshipped here are Anjaneya and Padmavathi (Lord Venkateshwara's significant other). This temple sees unusual group gathering during the Vaikunta Ekadashi day (a festival devoted to the master of Vaikunta for example Venkateshwara). The temple is shares its divider with the Tipu Sultan Summer royal residence on the K.R. (Krishna Rajendra) Road, close to the K.R. Market, in Bengaluru. Consistently in the month May or June (Vrushabha Masa, Pubba Nakshatra), Car Festival of the Lord takes place in the temple.
