Sultan Mosque

2021-01-21

Magnificently standing in the architecturally significant district of Kampong Glam, the Sultan Mosque (Masjid Sultan) is Singapore's biggest mosque and focal point of the Muslim people community in the Lion City. Apparently pulled out of the Arabian Nights, the captivating mosque is built in the Indo-Saracenic style, the feature being the tremendous petition lobby bested by a gleaming brilliant vault. Both with respect to its radiant appearance, and the sheer size, the Sultan Mosque is an unquestionable requirement visit in the event that one is in the Kampong Glam locale. Carrying with it the rich taste of culture and ethnic variety of the Muslims of Singapore, Masjid Sultan was gazetted as a National Monument in the year 1975.
