Vivekananda House also prominently known as The Ice House is a pilgrimage and shrine centre for the followers and admirers of Swami Vivekananda. It is in this house that Swami Vivekananda stayed for about a month and a half in 1900. Fabricated path in 1877 or a whole lot sooner, the two-story house is a masterpiece of Victorian engineering with its unmistakable plans of sunburst and saddleback rooftops. The room where Vivekananda went through about a month and a half is presently a place of refuge for each one of the individuals who need to contemplate and achieve internal harmony. When here, you can see the table at which he ate, put perfectly down the stairs close to the chimney.
