Home to an art gallery and museum, the Russell-Cotes Museum is dramatically located perched on Bournemouth's East Cliff. Next door to the Royal Bath Hotel, there are beautiful views throughout the bay. The museum building is a Grade II listed Victorian villa dating again to 1901. Originally constructed for Sir Merton and Lady Russell-Cotes as a home for the travel and art fanatics, the house was called East Cliff Hall. Filled with wonderful objects from their travels and stunning art collection, the constructing and its contents had been talented to the human beings of Bournemouth in 1908. The museum boasts a world over diagnosed artwork collection including some of European and Japanese artistic endeavors which are frequently on mortgage to galleries the world over. Aside from the main collections, two times yearly current exhibitions take location. The Russell-Cotes Museum also has adorable cliff top gardens and a café wherein you could take inside the serene surroundings. Together they stuffed the residence with a charming collection of British art, in addition to gadgets gathered on their travels round the world.
